Director, Founder

Dr Ahmed is a highly experienced investment professional with more than 25 years of financial markets expertise. He has held several senior positions at UBS, Barclays and up until recently was the Global Head of Asset Management at QInvest LLC, one of the leading investment banks in the MENA region. He built the department from inception to over a Billion-dollar business with an award-winning global team. He is a seasoned investor and highly sought board member serving on 24 funds and companies (Chairman and Vice Chairman of 12) and was previously a board member of Panmure Gordon when it was a listed firm. Dr Ahmed provides a unique strategic direction for The Armour Group drawing upon his international experience of growing multi-national businesses and maximising shareholder returns.

Harmeet is an entrepreneur with a passion for wellness and technology. The Armour Group was born from his vision to empower people to achieve optimum health. His interest in holistic health stems from a 10+ year career in the UK Health and Fitness sector. In addition to bringing some of the first CBD oils into the UK market he also sat on the board of a successful fitness training academy used by some of the largest fitness brands in Europe.  Harmeet has an academic background in Statistics and Sports coaching along with a Master's In Performance Analysis in sport. Experienced in e-commerce architecture, brand building, data, and digital marketing.  Harmeet has created a unique pharmaceutical cannabis platform. Under his leadership he has brought together a world class team and positioned The Armour Group for success.

Sukhvinder is a versatile and commercially astute European business systems lead. His successful track record spans over 15 years across a variety of industry sectors encompassing fast paced and multi-channel retail environments. His experience has been gained from working with global brands. He brings a wealth of knowledge with him in supply chain logistics and has significant experience working in Germany. Over the last 4 years he has provided key partnerships with industry leading German warehouse systems and key 3PL firms. 

Non-Executive

Shabir Djakiodine is a serial entrepreneur and chartered accountant, having qualified in France and since has accumulated over 25 years of experience in small, medium and large practice and organisations. He has studied in France and Sweden and his international career in France, Switzerland, New Zealand and the UK has included working for Deloitte Geneva and an American multinational. He speaks 5 languages and has travelled to 111 countries. He has set up a practice in France and the UK and deals with businesses across the globe. He has also set up a network of international accountants. Shabir writes tax articles which are published online and presents on prime-time TV to talk about taxation. He graduated with the University of Oxford and attended Business School with Goldman Sachs and is an alumnus of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses.

Cheryl Dhillon is a senior executive with extensive experience in a variety of sectors and demonstrable achievements in business strategy, and P&L optimisation in start-up, growth phase and major transformations. The last 29 years have been focused on pharmaceuticals in companies including Ares Serono, Elan Pharmaceuticals, Lorantis Ltd and over 15 years with Otsuka Pharmaceutical Europe. A long career proven expertise in Finance, Procurement, IT, Supply Chain, Quality, Business Development, Corporate Governance and Alliance Management; using these varied skills to maximise business value. Cheryl has a keen interest in development of people and has trained as an Executive coach with the University of Strathclyde. As a supporter of innovative technologies & healthcare Cheryl sits on the Board of Techion UK Ltd part of the Techion Group, Oxford Cannabinoid Technologies Holdings PLC. A fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants; and holds an MBA from the University of Hertfordshire.

Maddy Kennedy has 20+ years' experience as a CFO in both public and private companies, focusing in life science and technology sectors. She has industry experience in SME entrepreneurial businesses undertaking M&A, IPO’s and fundraising whilst maintaining financial stability. Maddy’s Recent contracts include CFO for Arquer Diagnostics Ltd, MyHealthChecked plc, Leso Digital Health Ltd and Psioxus Therapeutics Ltd. Prior to that she was a CFO for Lab21 Ltd and a Finance Director at Alliance Pharma plc, where she worked from start-up phase and managed through to the IPO on the London AIM. Maddy’s NED portfolio includes Nuformix plc and Tetris Pharma Ltd. She is FCCA registered and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from the Business School, Oxford.

Dr Martin Zentgraf is a medical doctor with profound experience in leading positions in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry for 35 years. His achievements include working with Byk Gulden (Takeda), Glaxo, Pfrimmer-Viggo (BOC Ohmeda), Rehau and Desitin. He represented the German pharmaceutical industry for more than a decade as board member and 6 years as Chairman of the Board of the Federal Association of the Pharmaceutical industry (BPI). Martin is now utilising his broad knowledge and network with a focus on marketing, sales, market access, business development and licensing to support European and US companies by optimising the successful introduction and marketing of their pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

United Kingdom

Stephen is an experienced entrepreneurial business leader with more than 35 years leading and scaling businesses in the private and public sector. The vast majority of his experience lies within the pharmaceutical, medical devices and biotechnology arena.  He has held senior positions within Cardinal Health, Amerisource Bergen Corporation.  Stephen has been instrumental in scaling companies for shareholder sale to large USA multinationals in addition to orchestrating significant asset purchases to enhance revenue streams.  He is a serial investor with more than 20 years in private equity ventures, startups and IPO’s.

Germany

Dr. Klaus-Jürgen Preuß is an expert in concept and strategy development. He can look back on more than 40 years of practical experience in the pharmaceutical industry as well as many years of experience in the medical device industry and private health insurance.  He has worked in management positions for Bayer, Ciba-Geigy, Nattermann, Rhone-Poulenc-Rorer, Resound USA, Austria and the DKV in Cologne. He has held international positions in the USA, Italy and Austria, gaining a wide range of experience and broad and deep industry expertise.

Dr. Lally has been a medical doctor for over 13 years and a qualified GP for over 8. He also works as a consultant and medical advisory board member for Novo Nordisk. He has extensive experience in the private sector after working with the Nuffield Group in addition to the wellness and medical aesthetic arena. Dr. Lally is a Key Opinion Leader and international trainer for Teoxane SA, Sinclair Pharma and Hansbiomed. He is a resident expert for L'Oreal sub-brands La Roche Posay and CeraVe. He is part of the clinical trials team that works with global brands such as Allergan (AbbVie) and Dr Wolff. He is also the National Aesthetic Medicine lead for the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Advisors

John Seaton FCA FCMA is a very experienced and highly commercial accountant. Having worked for Next, ICI and Lloyds Pharmacy earlier in his career, John has since held Director level positions for approximately the last 20 years, within a number of rapidly growing businesses. These roles have been in a variety of sectors, but much of that time has been within the Biotech, Pharmaceutical and Medical device space. During which, he was responsible for the commercial aspects of the successful launch of a licensed pharmaceutical product across Europe. John has worked successfully under a variety of ownership structures, as demonstrated by the different types of firms that he has enjoyed success with. This includes a period working within a Private Equity backed business.
